Saturday Evening, November 19
TONIGHT: Mid-Missouri will be experiencing a hard freeze as temperatures reach the lower 30s by tonight and continue to plummet into the morning. Winds will have died down, but a slight westerly breeze at 5-7 mph should remain throughout the evening hours.
SUNDAY: Early morning temperatures will be in the mid 20s, so definitely have a coat handy if you will be outside at all. Conditions will remain dry and sunny with temperatures reaching a slightly warmer high in the lower 50s. Winds will remain gentle at 6 mph out of the SE.
EXTENDED: High temperatures stay in the 50s most of next week with rain likely Tuesday, moving out early Wednesday morning. Rain totals range from 0.25-0.50 inches in most of mid-Missouri. NE Missouri can expect greater amounts of rain, anywhere up to 1 inch. Our most recent tracking shows a mostly sunny Thanksgiving with highs in the upper 50s. The potential for rain on Friday seems to have weakened, leading to a dry and sunny Black Friday. For additional weather updates follow @ABC17Stormtrack on Twitter.
