Man could face charges after another arrest

A man could face new charges after police arrested him near a Columbia elementary school.

Police responded to a woman Wednesday who claimed Omer Adam inappropriately touched her on Vandiver Drive. He was gone by the time officers got there.

A few hours later, police were called out to Parkade Elementary School after Adam was spotted going through the dumpster. School officials asked him to leave, but he supposedly refused.

Just last month, Adam was arrested for allegedly trying to get inside Parkade.
