Man charged with statutory sodomy after sexual intercourse with 15-year-old female
UPDATE 11/17: Officials with the Boone County Sheriff’s Department tell ABC 17 News that a man wanted for sex crimes has turned himself in.
Public jailing records show 49-year-old Walter Palma remains in the Boone County jail Thursday morning. He’s held on a $100,000 dollar bond.
Arrest records show Boone County deputies booked Palma in jail around 7:30 Wednesday night.
ABC 17 News checked public charging records and found Palma is charged with two county of statutory sodomy.
Deputies tell us Palma had a warrant out for his arrest, but did not have additional information about what led up to the charges.
ABC 17 News has reached out to police to find out what led up to Palma’s arrest and the charges. We’ll update this story as we learn more.
ORIGINAL STORY: Between the dates of May 12, 2016 and Aug. 18, 2016, Walter O. Palma had deviate sexual intercourse with a fifteen-year-old female in the 1300 block of Godas Drive.
The victim said that Palma used digital penetration on her as well as a sex toy.
A warrant request was sent to the Boone County Prosecutor’s Office for Walter Palma on the charges of statutory sodomy.
