Man rear-ends vehicle, arrested for DWI and false ID
On Wednesday afternoon, officers responded to a crash near Providence Road and Rogers Street where one vehicle had rear-ended another vehicle.
Officers spoke with Michael Kerrigan, the driver of the vehicle that rear-ended the other vehicle, and noticed signs that suggested Kerrigan may have been under the influence.
Kerrigan performed poorly on a Field Sobriety Test. He was detained and provided a post implied consent blood draw. During a search of Kerrigan, a fictitious driver’s license indicating Kerrigan was over the age of 21 was found.
Kerrigan was arrested for DWI with a bond of $500 and reproduction or alteration of identification card with a release on signature summons.
