Offender dies of natural causes at Jefferson City Correctional Center

Emil Oltmer, 67, was pronounced dead on Sunday at 3:19 p.m. He was serving a life sentence for second degree murder, armed criminal action and first degree assault from Saline County.

Oltmer started his sentence on June 19, 1989. He died from apparent natural causes.
