Eldon woman sentenced to 15 years in prison
Tammy L. Boyd was sentenced to 15 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections for possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute on Nov. 10, 2016.
In Aug. 2016, Boyd pled guilty to possessing methamphetamine with the intent to distribute it to others.
The State said, “Eldon opened its heart and arms to Ms. Boyd and in return she sold poison to the very community that helped her.” The State also stated that Boyd had approximately 45 grams of methamphetamine in her possession.
Boyd was arrested by the Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force and Eldon Police Department in May 2015.
