Traffic Alert: Detours extended for I-70 and Route 54 interchange

According to the Missouri Department of Transportation, or MoDOT, current detours have been extended for the I-70 and Route 54 interchange in Kingdom City.

The detours are due to pavement replacement and improvement projects that are set to wrap up in late November.

Right now, MoDOT projects the westbound I-70 on ramp will remain closed until Monday, November 7. The westbound I-70 off ramp to westbound Route 54 is expected to be closed until Friday, November 11.

MoDOT said these projects could now see the possibility of Saturday and Sunday detours.

Drive with caution if you plan to travel in the area.
