Tuesday Evening, November 1

TONIGHT: Clouds will increase tonight in advance of Wednesday’s storm system. Winds will remain from the south, becoming light under 5 mph. Temperatures remain well above normal in the mid to low 60s overnight.

WEDNESDAY: It will continue to be warm for early November as temperatures reach the mid to upper 70s under mostly cloudy skies. Showers and t-storms will develop in the afternoon north of I-70, pushing south of I-70 into the evening hours. Showers will end early Thursday morning near I-44. Severe storms are unlikely but isolated strong storms with small hail and gusty winds are possible. Potential rainfall amounts will be highest north of I-70 with up to an inch possible while areas south could see totals closer to a 0.50″ to 0.75″.

EXTENDED: Conditions will be dry and mild from Thursday through the weekend with daytime high temperatures in the upper 60s to near 70 and nights in the mid to upper 40s.
