Sunday Evening, October 30
TONIGHT: The cool temperatures will stay overnight under mostly cloudy skies with lows in the mid 50s.
MONDAY: Mostly cloudy skies will persist for the morning and the early afternoon before clearing to partly cloudy skies by the evening. This will keep temperatures cooler than expected with still warm but pleasant highs in the upper 70s. Monday will also be breezy with southerly wind gusts upwards to 25 mph as the cold front which brought cool relief on Sunday lifts northward. For Halloween night, temperatures will be mild in the upper 60s to lower 70s for trick or treating under a partly cloudy sky.
EXTENDED: Tuesday will be mostly sunny, dry, and warmer with the high sitting in the lower 80s. Our next chance of rain moves in next Wednesday evening due to a passing cold front. Areas north of HWY 63 could potentially see rainfall totals near 1″ while areas along and north of I-70 could see totals closer to a half an inch. These storms, possibly strong with a small severe chance, will persist till Thursday morning before clearing up by Thursday afternoon. Conditions will be dry and much cooler for the remainder of the week and next weekend. For additional weather updates follow @ABC17Stormtrack on Twitter.
