Man arrested for $460 in counterfeit money

A man arrested in northeast Columbia for $460 in counterfeit money was out of jail Friday.

Boone County deputies said John Alexander was arrested Thursday night after a counterfeit bill was reported at the Phillips 66 off Route B.

Investigators said Alexander was also stopped last weekend with 23 bills, all containing the same serial number.
