Monday afternoon, October 24
TONIGHT: It looks to stay mostly clear through evening with high level clouds increasing overnight. Winds will shift overnight becoming easterly under 10 mph with lows dipping to the upper 40s overnight.
TUESDAY: Another comfortable and cool morning is in the works for Mid-Missouri for your Tuesday morning commute. That cool down won’t last long, as southeasterly winds through the day will bring in warmer air. Most locations will top out in the upper 60s and lower 70s by late afternoon as a warm front drifts northward. Isolated showers are possible mainly north of the I-70 corridor through the afternoon hours.
EXTENDED: Areas north of I-70 look to see the next storm chance by midnight or so on Tuesday night. Areas south of I-70 look to see storms by daybreak on Wednesday. There will be a limited severe threat on Wednesday we’ll need to keep an eye on. Rainfall amounts Wednesday look to bring .10″ to 0.25″ near I-70 with areas north closer to 0.50.” Dry weather returns Thursday. Another cold front arrives by Friday night. This could bring a slight rain chance to areas east of HWY 54 by Friday evening. The upcoming weekend however, looks dry with above average temperatures of 5-8 degrees.
