Campaign finance reports are posted

On October 17, another filing deadline passed for candidates to report campaign contributions to the Missouri Ethics Commission.

With Election Day just three weeks away, we are monitoring campaign finance reports for races important to Mid-Missourians.

In the race for Missouri Senate District 8, Republican Caleb Rowden is reporting his campaign contributions at $850,353. His Democratic challenger, Stephen Webber, has raised 1,503, 561. Both state representatives are seeking the senate seat being vacated by Kurt Schaefer who ran unsuccessfully for the Republican nomination for attorney general.

In the race for Missouri House of Representatives District 47, Republican incumbent Chuck Basye reports a total of $134,302. His Democratic challenger, Susan McClintic is reporting $170,646.

For the Boone County Commission District 1 seat, Democrat Brianna Lennon reports $48,404, while Republican Fred Parry reports $103,448.
