Family of four sent to hospital after car crash
A family of four, including a six-year-old child, was sent to the hospital after troopers say a woman plowed into their car in Howard County.
Aimee Overstreet was arrested Saturday night and could face charges of first -degree assault and failing to stay on the right side of the road.
Highway patrol crash reports say Overstreet was driving westbound when she crossed the center line, into eastbound traffic, on Highway 40 at the Katy Trail and crashed into the family’s truck head on.
The family’s injuries ranged from minor to serious.
Overstreet was taken to the hospital for treatment.
