Suspect from East Broadway robbery still at large
Columbia Police responded to the Break Time Convenience Store on East Broadway at 1:14 a.m. Friday morning.
When the officers arrived, the suspect had fled the area on foot. The investigation revealed that the suspect entered the store with a handgun. The suspect demanded money and retrieved an undisclosed amount before fleeing the area in a northbound direction.
A K-9 track was conducted with no success. The investigation is on-going.
The suspect is described as a white male between 5’10” and 6′ with a slender build. He was last seen wearing a hat, a light colored hoodie, and blue jeans.
