St. Louis woman reports sexual assault in Mexico, Missouri

A 26-year-old woman from St. Louis reported being sexually assaulted in Mexico on Oct. 7.

The woman reported being in Mexico for a couple of days to visit family, and during the early morning hours of Oct. 7, she reported be sexually assaulted by one of her relatives.

Mexico officials investigated the offense with the assistance of the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, and arrested Toriano A Walker, age 35 of Mexico, on Oct. 13 for the offense.

Walker was booked at the Mexico Public Safety Department and later taken to the Audrain County Jail on charges of first degree rape and incest. The victim has returned to the St. Louis area.
