Man turns himself in for child molestation, enticement of a child charges
A man has turned himself for charges of child molestation and enticement of a child.
ABC 17 News spoke to a detective with the Boone County Sheriff’s Department who says Frank Washburn turned himself in at the Boone County jail around 3:40 Monday afternoon.
Washburn was apparently wanted on an arrest warrant for child molestation and enticement of a child. Public records show the charges were just filed last week.
Police say back in May officers responded to the CPD lobby in regards to a sexual assault. A probable cause statement says Washburn had offered a 13-year-old female juvenile $200 dollars to allow him to perform a sexual act on the juvenile.
This incident apparently happened in the 1200 block of Grindstone Parkway.
Police say they also discovered that Washburn had touched the juvenile’s genitals two to three years ago and forced the juvenile to show him her breasts and buttocks in the 1500 block of Vandiver Drive.
