Monday Evening, October 10

TONIGHT: Lows tonight will dip into the low to mid 50s, as we’ll see a few breaks in the clouds. Spotty light showers will move through overnight mainly north of I-70. Showers will be very hit and miss and light. Winds will remain out of the southeast under 10 mph.

TUESDAY: Tuesday will be warm with high temperatures in the upper 70s to near 80 and only cooling off to low temperatures in the upper 50s overnight. Skies will be mostly sunny with a south breeze up to 10 mph.

EXTENDED: Showers are possible late Tuesday night after midnight becoming more numerous by mid-morning Wednesday. Scattered showers and t-storms are likely Wednesday afternoon as a cold front moves in. These will move southeast and out of our area Wednesday evening by 10 PM near I-44. Rainfall totals are expected to be heaviest along I-70 and I-44 with amounts of .50- 1.0″. Chilly conditions return after the front passes with lows overnight on Wednesday dropping to the lower 40s and high temperatures Thursday near 60. Another chance of showers moves in Thursday night and Friday with high temperatures reaching the lower 60s Friday.
