JCPS administrators look to boost test scores after recent dip

The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education released the 2016 MAP test scores in September.

MAP, or Missouri Assessment Program, tests secondary students in the subjects of English language arts, mathematics, science and social studies.

The results show Jefferson City Public Schools scored below the statewide average for proficient and advanced academic levels. These results exclude high school exit exams.
