Concealed carry permits and renewals not available in Boone County

The Boone County Sheriff’s Department announced that the department will not be able to process new or renewal concealed carry applications, or issue concealed carry permits on October 4th. This is due to program updates/upgrades being installed in the Concealed Carry Permit System by the Missouri Sheriff’s Association. Processing applications and issuing permits should resume on Wednesday, October 5th, 2016.
