Man arrested after fleeing, fighting JCPD officers

A Jefferson City man could face additional charges after he is arrested for three outstanding warrants.

Jefferson City police arrested Likin Stull, 21, of Jefferson City Monday afternoon following a short chase.

Officers said they were in the 1400 block of Missouri Boulevard when they tried to stop Stull.

Stull started fighting an officer after a Taser used on him had no effect.

He was taken into custody after police stunned Stull a second time after he tried to take the officer’s Taser.

Officers said they found a knife on Stull during their investigation.

Stull was arrested on three outstanding felony warrants for second-degree burglary, probation violation for obstructing police, and dangerous drugs.

He was taken to a Jefferson City area hospital for minor injuries.

Luckily, no police officers were hurt.

Stull could face additional felony charges in Cole County for resisting arrest and assault on a law enforcement officer.
