Police: 8th grader emailed Fulton bomb threat

An eighth grader is now facing a Class C felony charge, accused of emailing in a bomb threat. Police were called around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday after the assistant principal opened an email threatening to bomb Fulton Middle School. After working with the school’s computer department, officers think it was sent Monday night from somebody who did not show up for class Tuesday morning. He was taken into custody around 10:30 a.m., and turned over to the Callaway County juvenile office, charged with one county of making a terrorist threat. Investigators say no one was in any danger because it was not serious.
