Saturday morning, September 24
TODAY: Saturday will start out with sunny skies. By mid-afternoon we should expect partly cloudy skies filling into Mid-Missouri. There is an isolated storm chance west of HWY 63 Saturday mainly after 3PM, but most areas will stay dry and warm with high temperatures in the upper 80s with light southerly winds under 10 mph.
SUNDAY: Storms will increase from the west Saturday night into Sunday morning as a cold front approaches. Widely scattered showers and t-storms are likely Sunday with the best chance in the afternoon. This line of rain and storms will slowly trickling east and out of the area by Sunday night. Severe storms are not expected.
EXTENDED: By Monday, temperatures look cooler with more typical late September conditions. Monday’s highs will stay near 70 with overnight lows in the upper 40s.
