TODAY: A warm day to tailgate or be outside with temperature highs in the upper 80s. Tonight will continue to be muggy and warm with temperature lows around 70 with above average humidity with light southerly winds under 10 mph.
SUNDAY: A cold front will bring a rain chance Sunday late morning and early afternoon with the best chance for rain between noon and 6pm. These storms are not expected to be severe and they will most likely be scattered with light to moderate rainfall, bringing less than a 0.25″ of rainfall to most areas. Clouds will increase throughout the day and keep temperatures slightly cooler but still warm with highs in the low 80s. The rain chance will taper off by Sunday night and Mid-Missouri can expect a drier and cooler night with low temperatures in the mid 50s.
EXTENDED: It took awhile to come, but by Monday it will definitely feel like fall with temperatures struggling to get out of the upper 60s most areas and temperatures dropping to a chilly 45 degrees by Monday night. The rest of the week will remain cool and seasonable with no rain chance. For additional weather updates follow @abc17stormtrack on twitter.
