No kids hurt, one hospitalized after crash involving school bus

UPDATE 7:54am: ABC 17 News has confirmed no kids were hurt after a crash involving a school bus.

Authorities say a vehicle rear ended another vehicle. That crash forced the vehicle hit into the back of the school bus.

Right now, school officials are transferring students onto another bus to take them to school.

Authorities say no children on board the bus were hurt, but say the passenger in the vehicle rear ended was taken to the hospital.

The crash was temporarily blocking traffic in the area, but our ABC 17 News crews say traffic is now moving again.

ORIGINAL: A crash in north Boone County was slowing traffic Thursday morning.

It happened around 7:30 Thursday morning on Highway HH and Fall Creek Drive.

Boone County EMA sent an alert saying the wreck was slowing traffic in the area and advised drivers to use caution.

ABC 17 News heard reports that the crash involved three vehicles, possibly including a school bus.

ABC 17 News has a crew on the way to the scene right now. We’ll update this story as we learn more.
