UPDATE 9/6: Robinson, Newsome and Harris have all been charged with second degree robbery in connection to the Fast Lane Robbery.
UPDATE: Boone County deputies have arrested three teenage suspects in connection to the Fastlane robbery Monday night.
Deputies said 19-year-old Shariffah Robinson, 18-year-old Jermain Newsome and 17-year-old Ke’aveon Harris are facing charges in the robbery.
All three are currently being held in the Boone County jail with a bond of $25,000.
The Boone County Sheriff’s Department was investigating a robbery at the Fastlane on Settlers Ridge Drive, just off State Road HH and Route B, Monday night.
It happened just before 9:00 p.m.
The alleged victims spoke with ABC 17 News at the scene and said they were on their way home from the hospital, getting gas, when they were robbed at gunpoint for a total of $10. Officials also confirmed one victim was next to a gas pump when he was grabbed by someone inside the suspect’s car, dragging him before they escaped the scene.
Deputies on scene would only say they were investigating a report of a robbery as they left the gas station around 10:30 p.m., before issuing more details just before midnight.
The department reports the suspects were later found in a nearby subdivision and positively identified by the victim.
