Board of Health seeks public comment on tobacco sales license

Residents living in Columbia and surrounding Boone County have been asked to give their input about a tobacco sales license.

Officials have told ABC 17 News they plan to hold a public meeting Thursday, Sept. 8 at 5:30 p.m.

It will take place at the Columbia/Boone County Department of Public Health and Human Services at 1005 West Worley Street.

The Board of Health would like to hear from people on the possible change that would require businesses that sell tobacco to have a license.
