Deputies: 2 arrested after months-long, “drug-induced crime spree”
Two suspects are in custody after what deputies are calling a months-long “drug-induced crime spree.”
Christopher Webb and Lisa Payer were arrested Friday. Both were wanted on multiple counts of stealing and burglary, among numerous other charges.
Deputies say they broke into a number of homes in the area and then failed to appear in court after posting bond.
During the course of their arrest, deputies located what appeared to be drug paraphernalia and heroin.
The Maries County Sheriff’s Department says they will be asking for additional charges on both suspects.
According to the sheriff’s office, Webb has numerous felony convictions and has been in and out of prison for the majority of his life.
