William Woods University prepares for active shooter situation with training

William Woods University is taking steps to keep its students safe.

On Friday, the university held active shooter training through a drill.

Fulton Police, the Callaway County Sheriff’s officer, and EMS were among the agencies that participated in the event.

An officer took the role of the active shooter and about 35 students played victims.
