New Missouri laws take effect tomorrow
Bills signed into law by Governor Nixon will officially take effect tomorrow, August 1st.
Some of the noteworthy bills are centered on ethics reform. One of those bills-HB 2203-changes the laws regarding campaign finance. Another, HB 1477, amends laws relating to election and political parties.
Other bills worth noting are HB 1649, which “Establishes the Rescue the Forgotten law to provide immunity from civil liability for persons who render assistance to children trapped in motor vehicles.”
Additionally, HB 1583, “changes the laws regarding bullying in schools and establishes specific components that a district must include in its antibullying policy.”
