Two vehicles damaged by mailboxes thrown from overpasses

Moberly police are investigating two incidents in which vehicles were damaged after someone threw mailboxes off overpasses along Highway 63.

The first incident happened at around 1 a.m. Friday, when a mailbox hit a woman’s car as it drove under the McKinsey Street overpass. The second happened about an hour later, when a mailbox thrown from the Sinnock Avenue overpass along Highway 63 hit a man’s car. Neither driver was hurt.
