Two arrested following thefts in Callaway County
Callaway County deputies have arrested two men following investigations into thefts of power tools, construction equipment, and other items.
On Sunday, deputies searched two locations in the county, one in the 12000 block of County Road 4012 and one in the 12000 block of County Road 4031, both near Holts Summit.
During the searches, deputies reported finding a lot of stolen property, including power tools, gaming consoles, games, and construction equipment. According to the sheriff’s department, some of the items were identified as having been stolen during recent burglaries and thefts.
Authorities also found a lawn mower, which had been stolen, at a home in Cole County.
Deputies arrested Cole Robinett, 25, on suspicion of burglary, stealing, and receiving stolen property. They also arrested Joshua Temmen, 24, on suspicion of stealing and driving while revoked. Both men were on parole at the time of their arrests, each having prior convictions for burglary.
