Mid-Missouri law enforcement agencies respond to Dallas shootings
Several local law enforcement agencies are showing their support after the shooting in Dallas left five police officers dead.
The Columbia Police Department held a press conference today in response to Dallas Shooting to address the increase in gun violence nationwide and what they could do to build trust between the officer and the citizen.
The Camden County Sheriff’s Office held a memorial service at the Osage Beach City Hall at 10:30 a.m..
A picture was also posted quoting “We Stand With Dallas Police”.

Children also came to the Camden County Sheriff’s Office leaving behind homemade posters showing their support for their local law enforcement.
The Pulaski County Sheriff also posted a response to the shooting by Sheriff Ronald Long.
In his weekly article “The Sheriff’s View,” Long stated, “My thoughts and prayers goes out to the families, friends and co-workers of these slain heroes”.
