Two arrested in Callaway County burglary
Deputies in Callaway County have arrested a man and woman on suspicion of burglarizing a home east of Auxvasse on Independence Day.
A house alarm alerted authorities to the burglary at the home on Highway B; when deputies arrived, they reported seeing Dara Lander, 24, and Timothy Bodimer, 47, taking things out of the house.
After speaking with the property owner, deputies determined neither Bodimer nor Lander had permission to take anything from the home. Some of the stolen property was later found in the pair’s vehicle, and deputies also found some drug paraphernalia.
On Tuesday, prosecutors filed burglary, stealing, and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia charges against Bodimer and Lander.
