Dixon fireman, two others arrested for suspected arson

A Dixon firefighter and two other people were arrested and charged with 2nd degree arson Thursday.

Investigators with the Maries County Sheriff Office and the Missouri State Fire Marshal’s Office investigated a suspicious fire that happened on April 24 on Maries County Road 623.

Officials say the fire destroyed three structures on the property.

Dixon firefighter Kalee Beal, Jason Parham, and Dennis Garrett were taken into custody and are being held in the Maries County jail.
