Workers start sliding bridge at Business Loop, I-70 into place

Crews started sliding the new bridge over I-70 at Business Loop 70 into place Monday morning, The work is expected to finish up by Monday evening. As with the other new bridges over Garth Avenue and Rangeline Street, workers will use dish soap to help them move the bridge.

All on- and off- ramps at Interstate 70 and Business Loop/West Boulevard and the south outer road (I-70 Drive) remain closed to allow for replacing the I-70 bridge over business loop and building a dual-lane roundabout on the south side of Business Loop 70. I-70 traffic is being detoured onto the Business Loop ramps.
