Rainy Sunday evening to Sunny Monday

The rain across Mid-Missouri continues on a stubborn trend and sticks around into Sunday evening. The bulk of this rain will be in the counties east of US 63. Spotty rain pockets will continue for the rest of Mid-Missouri as these storms slowly disintegrate as nightfall approaches. Conditions will clear overnight as the cold front moves out of Missouri, leaving us with a low temperature in the low 70s with N winds of 2 to 5 MPH. Tomorrow morning will be partly cloudy and with skies continuing to clear into the later part of the morning. The high for Mid-Missouri will be in the low 90s with heat indices getting up to 95. The afternoon is expected to be on the muggy side, but it will be great day to start the new work week as light N winds will cool as off throughout the day.
