MoDOT plans sidewalk improvements on Missouri Blvd.
Business Route 50, also known as Missouri Boulevard, will see major sidewalk improvements this summer.
The Missouri Department of Transportation and theMissouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded a $940,000 contract to Sam Gaines Construction of New Bloomfield forreconstruction of the boulevard’s pedestrian walkways.
The project will bring the sidewalks on Missouri Boulevard into compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Work is scheduled to begin after July 4 and is expected to be complete by the end of the year.
