Police investigate after woman stabbed in Columbia

Police are investigating after a woman was stabbed in Columbia Tuesday morning.

Officers tell ABC 17 News they were called to the scene on Forest Avenue just after 2:00 a.m. They discovered a 26-year-old woman with a stab wound there.

Investigators believe the victim went to a home and got in a fight with the woman who lives there. There was also a man at the home that has a child with each woman.

So far, police have not arrested anyone.We’re told the victim is expected to be okay.
