Three arrested after intent to smuggle controlled substances into Fulton correctional center

Three are being held at the Callaway County Jail with a $4500 bond each on suspicion of delivering a controlled substance to a state correctional facility.

Dorothy Oliver, 54; Terry Lambert, 56; and Laniesha Dill, 21; were arrested Sunday morning after an investigation was conducted based on knowledge of pending drug activity at the Fulton Reception and Diagnostic Center in Fulton.

When the suspects arrived to the facility for inmate visitation, two different types of controlled substances were found in the suspects’ vehicle.

The investigation provided that the substances were brought to the facility with an intent to be smuggled in for an inmate.

The Callaway County Sheriff’s office made the arrests.

The investigation is ongoing.
