One in custody after shooting in Jefferson City Wednesday
Police say they have arrested one person after a shooting in Jefferson City Wednesday.
It happened in the 600 block of Clark Avenue around 9:30 Wednesday night.
Police say once on scene, witnesses were able to give them a suspect description and a description of the vehicle the alleged shooter was driving.
They say they were able to find the suspect within 20 minutes and took him into custody.
Police say the suspect was in the Cole County jail on Thursday morning awaiting formal charges.
No word yet on if anyone was hurt or if anything was damaged in the shooting.
