Suspect accused of pulling pocket knife during fight

A 20 year-old man landed in jail Monday evening, accused of threatening two people during a knife fight at a Fulton park.

Officers received a report of fighting at Memorial Park on West Second Street around 5:30 p.m.

They got a suspect description from the victims, who claim Jesse Ray Atterberry swung a pocket knife at them, which was later recovered near the scene. No one was hurt.

Atterberry was arrested two counts of second-degree assault, armed criminal action, felony unlawful use of a weapon and felony tampering with physical evidence, with a bond of $22,500.
