Man in critical condition after crash in Camden County

Update: As of Sunday morning, the driver was still at the hospital in critical condition.

A 73-year-old man is now in critical condition after crashing his car in Camden County Friday evening.

The crash happened around 6:30 p.m. on Highway FF, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

Troopers say the driver, John Kelemen, went off the right side of the road and hit a tree.

He was life-flighted to University Hospital to be treated for serious injuries. Saturday afternoon, hospital officials said he was in critical condition.

Kelemen was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
