Jefferson City Council approves a revenue bond to Modern Litho Printing company
The Jefferson City Council voted on Monday night to approve of a revenue bond for the Modern Litho Printing Company.
The revenue of the bond would go towards buying several million dollars worth of printing equipment. According to the company, it would allow for “considerable expansion” of the Jefferson City facility.
Over 50 jobs in five years is what the company is expecting by having the revenue bond. Over the five years, it would allow for Jefferson City to be the main manufacturing location.
The bond would not exceed 8 million dollars.
Modern Litho Print Company does commercial, digital, and publication printing services.
Jefferson City officials said that the bond would be cost neutral to taxpayers.
