Columbia road blocked off due to gas leak

Crews have blocked off part of Manor Drive in Columbia because of a gas leak. The closure is between Manor Court and Rollins Road.

Apparently a gas line was pulled up during some excavation work. According to the city’s public works department, no evacuations have been necessary. However, until the line is repaired, some people living in that neighborhood have been forced to park at a nearby church and walk to their homes.
