Residents injury free after Cooper County house fire

All residents are safe after a house fire in Cooper County.

The Cooper County Fire Protection District worked with the Prairie Home Rural Fire Protection District to put out a fire that they believe originally started from the dryer.

Chief Ryan Reuter told ABC 17 that the flames were showing from the residential structure. The fire was extinguished within twenty minutes and was contained from the laundry room. The cause of the fire is still undetermined at this time.

The CCFPD took to Facebookto thank everyone for their assistance.
