Trump, Cruz and the Clintons visit Missouri
The two Republican frontrunners and one of the Democratic candidates for president planned visits to the Show-Me State this weekend, ahead of the Missouri primaries on Tuesday.
ABC 17 News had reporters at the Donald Trump rally Friday afternoon at the Peabody Opera House in St. Louis, where things were delayed while police hauled out protesters. Watch a viewer’s cell phone video of those arrests here.
Sen. Ted Cruz is also visiting St. Louis Saturday with former candidate Carly Fiorina. The rally is at Parkway West High School in Ballwin, starting at 10 a.m. Cruz’s wife, Heidi, was in Columbia Friday afternoon at Dickey’s BBQ near the Schnucks at Forum Boulevard and Stadium. She said Cruz will also have stops in Kansas City and Springfield that same day.
Bill Clinton spoke in Kansas City Friday. Hillary will speak in St. Louis Saturday at the Carpenters Apprenticeship Program, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. U.S. Senator Cory Booker will help campaign at her St. Louis office from 2-5 p.m. Sunday.
