The weekend will begin with scattered showers early Saturday and temperatures in the low 50s in the early morning. These showers will move north of I-70 by 11 AM and out of Mid-Missouri by 1 PM, leaving us with a mostly cloudy, mild and dry afternoon.
A few more showers and t-storms are possible Saturday night through Sunday morning as they move north and out of the area by noon. However, forecast models show enough instability and moisture to trigger a few storms late in the afternoon through mid-evening Sunday as the final wave moves through.
From Friday night through Sunday, rainfall amounts are expected to range from a quarter to a half inch west of HWY 63 with up to 1 inch totals east.
