Man killed after motorcycle crash

A Moniteau County man died after a crash in Jamestown Sunday evening.

The crash happened on Route Y just south of Bethel School Road.

Edward Howard, 52, was driving a motorcycle when it went off the road, and started skidding, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol. Howard was thrown off the motorcycle when it hit a ditch. He died at the scene.

Howard was wearing a helmet at the time.
