Mild, dry weekend in Mid- Missouri

Temperatures will feel more like early April this weekend as they climb into the 60s both Saturday and Sunday. Southwesterly winds will increase in western Missouri Saturday afternoon to 15 mph near HWY 65 but will stay near 10 mph farther east. It will start off chilly with temperatures in the 30s Saturday morning but will quickly warm through the day due to abundant sunshine.

It will be windy Sunday as southwesterly winds pick up to 15-20 mph by noon, gusting as high as 30 mph ahead of a cold front. This front will bring some clouds with it but it looks too dry for measurable rain, although some sprinkles can’t be ruled out. It still looks mild Sunday with temperatures reaching the mid-upper 60s before winds shift to the northwest and bring slightly cooler air in Sunday night.
