Man pleads guilty to assault with a metal pipe

A man pleaded guilty to assault Wednesday after it was caught on ABC 17 News cameras last August in northeast Columbia.

A man stepped in, trying to break up a fight on Quail Drive between Larry Williams and a woman.

Williams then started throwing rocks and hitting the man with a metal pipe.

Williams was arrested about 4 hours later off Ballenger Lane.
